I kinda think it got posted a few weeks back...maybe by jssd. I wasn't crazy about it, though I'm not a big fan. Don't mind them though...

I figured as much (that it was posted already)...this is a hip crowd we got here... I don't mind the Gorillaz though I'm not a huge fan...I'm just suprised the concept has lasted this long... and they do put out good singles...

I like ! ...Just listened to Modern Life is Rubbish the other day, Damon is a Genius and i like that the TANK Girl cartoon style is still alive through the work of Jamie Hewlett...(I Loved Deadline magazine back in the day) Looking Forward to some New Gorillaz !!! :thumb:

the website's off the hook
Read about it HERE
Today’s top gossip:

Gorillaz' Murdoc Niccals said – tongue firmly in cartoon cheek – that "Damon Albarn has started work on his first solo album...under the alias Prince Barry" (The Sun).

This this week's issue of NME - on UK newsstands nationwide from March 10 - for an exclusive interview between Gorillaz and Albarn

 Funny that he uses the cartoon Murdoc (Jamie Hewlett) to announce his (Albarn's) new project, and his cartoon self 2D to interview himself... :thumb:

I guess it is a gimmick, but it seems like it's a gimmick of necessity, because Albarn has said that he's too self-conscious to be a regular frontman, and that was never comfortable in that role.

I don't have any trouble sympathizing because I wouldn't want that kind of focus on me.

Far above the clouds

I was just shocked that they've sold so many records and are also Grammy nominees...coolest thing I've seen was a clip of them live and the audience response when the 3D of the band members appeared onstage...suspension of disbelief is a cool thing to see...
