It's telling. And sad.

I'm sure if we ever have another Jane's Addiction show, the archiving duties will resume. With Chaney in the band, the 73 people on the planet who are (were?) nerdy to give a fuck about what the band plays are all going to switch off. As has been said countless times now, they can call the band what they want, but it's not Jane's Addiction without EA - they'll need to wake up to that if they intend to pursue this bollocks. They'll lose much of the momentum they gained through NIN|JA. While many won't care (last night was sold out), I just don't see how they can continue with any success if they keep eroding goodwill of their fanbase at every turn.

Woah, woah....73? We're going to need a lot of mirrors to make that happen.

It's sad when you can't think of anything more noteworthy than the fact that they've not reverted to their stage positions for the Strays tour. Navarro is in his usual spot.

i gotta say, i never liked jane's addiction because they could sell out venues. i never liked any band, for that matter, because of their selling power. :noclue:
